JoAnne F. DePalma, CFP
JoAnne F. DePalma, CFP joined Burzenski & Company in 2000. She obtained an accounting degree from Quinnipiac University and has completed all the requirements associated with the designation of Certified Public Accountant. Prior to obtaining her degree in accounting she attained her Certified Financial Planning designation and Bachelor of Science degree in Management. JoAnne had the opportunity to participate in the ten month Greater New Haven Leadership program.
Prior to joining Burzenski & Company she was an Assistant Vice President and Private Banking Officer at the Connecticut Bank and Trust Company. JoAnne opened and managed the first private banking office in the New Haven area.
JoAnne focuses her efforts at Burzenski & Company in the area of investment and financial planning. Her purpose in this area is to help clients understand what they must do throughout their life in the consumption, accumulation and spending periods of the financial cycle. The personal financial planning process at Burzenski & Company, P.C. includes:
- Determining the clients financial objectives
- Gathering financial information and relevant data
- Performing an analysis to develop and support recommendations and the planning decisions
- Assisting the client with implementation of the financial data
- Monitoring the client’s progress
- Updating the plan periodically
She has obtained her Series 7, 24 and 66 licensing, as well as, her life, health, variable annuity insurance licensing. These licenses enable her to market all securities products, including stocks, bonds, government and municipal securities.
